A few days before Daniel and I left California to travel, we shared a somber goodbye with one of our dearest friends, Jason, knowing it would be a while until we saw him again. We’d tried to convince him to come meet us in Thailand, but didn’t actually believe that our persisting would turn into a reality. It wasn’t until we received an email from him while we were in India saying that he would, in fact, meet us in Thailand for a couple of weeks.
And after nearly a month of traveling together, we had to bid Jason farewell a few days ago in Bangkok. We couldn’t have had a better time with him, exploring Thailand, eating more Panang Curry than one would consider possible and drinking Chang after Chang while constantly exclaiming, “I can’t believe we’re actually all in Thailand together!!”
Jason, we’re sad to see you go, but SO glad we got to have you join us for our Thai adventures. We’ll see ya at home again in a few months, make sure to eat lots of Mexican food on our behalf. Until then, remember that train rides just won’t be the same without you!
